Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) is a federal grant designed to increase the number of students who are prepared to enter and succeed in public and private colleges and universities and community colleges immediately after high school.

What We Did During The Event

At the Gear Up event we had the incredible opportunity to provide a range of video production and AV Services. We took charge of the audio-visual experience, leaving no room for compromise. We managed sound for the entire arena, accommodating over 5,000 attendees, in two separate areas of the building (about 1,000 feet apart). Our skilled technicians seamlessly handled video playback on large screens, in two different areas, while live-streaming cameras and recording everything on isolated channels as well, for future productions.

What We Did After The Event

After the event at the Beckley Convention Center, we shifted gears to post-production mode. One request from the client was to use an interview shot earlier, on a phone. Here you can see how we combined our footage along with the footage provided. We also cleaned up the audio (from the footage on the phone).
