Google Business Profile Management

Getting your business into the Google map box, keeping it there, and fixing it when it gets suspended. Those three listings take most of the local calls.

Get found in the map,
not just the search.

When somebody in Beckley searches for what you sell, the three businesses in the map box get most of the calls. That box is not ranked by your website. It is ranked by your Google Business Profile, and almost every local business we look at has one that is unclaimed, half filled in, or has not been touched since somebody set it up years ago. We fix that, and then we keep it fed.

  • Claim and verify your profile, or recover one you have lost access to
  • Categories, services, hours, service area and attributes filled out properly
  • Photos added regularly, which is a ranking factor most people ignore
  • Google Posts published so the profile stays active
  • Review responses written, including the difficult ones

Why the map box matters more than your website

For a local business, most of the searches that turn into phone calls never reach your site. Somebody searches on a phone, the map appears, and they tap one of three results. If you are not in that three, you are competing for the leftovers. Getting into it is mostly consistency and activity – both boring, and both things nobody gets around to.

Claimed and correctVerified ownership, accurate categories, and your name, address and phone matched exactly to your website.
Kept activeGoogle favours profiles that are actually used. Posts and photos on a schedule rather than a burst and then silence.
Reviews answeredEvery review responded to, including the bad ones – which matter more than the good ones for how you look to a stranger.
ReportedMonthly numbers on calls, direction requests and searches, so you can see whether it is working.

What it costs

Setup is $350, and it is free with a Pro build. That covers building and optimising the profile plus three verification attempts.

Ongoing management is $150 a month – posts, review monitoring, photo refreshes, and we handle it if Google asks you to re-verify.

Some businesses are harder to verify than others: no permanent signage, service-area rather than storefront, home-based, a shared building, a spam-heavy category, or a prior suspension. We run an eligibility check before quoting, and if yours is one of those we quote it as a $500 Verification Project so nobody is surprised. Already suspended? Reinstatement is a separate $500 and we never bundle it into something else to hide it.

We never promise verification. Google decides that, not us. Google also requires you to film a short verification video at your location – we cannot do that part for you, but we send an exact shot list and check the footage before it goes in.

We fixed our own name, address and phone consistency as part of rebuilding this site, which is the same first step we run for every client. It is unglamorous and it is the highest-return hour in local SEO.
